- Launch at Login:
if enabled Changes Meter will be launched automatically when the user logs in
- Default Check Interval:
defines the default interval between two successive checks of enabled URLs (Changes Meter takes advantage of Mac OS X caching system to reduce the amount of information transferred over the network)
- Check at Startup:
if enabled the first check is performed immediately after Changes Meter has started, otherwise it will happen after the interval specified in the above option
- Default Change Sensitivity:
defines the default level of sensitivity for newly added URLs, with an higher the value, a more limited number of changes in the page will cause a change notification
- Change Check:
determines which type of comparison is performing when looking for changes in a web page: it compares the current page either with the last visited page or the last checked page
- Compare Web Page Contents Only:
if enabled only the textual content of the web page will be compared with the previous version; this option is really useful if you want to avoid that changes in ads or other hidden parts of the page will trigger a change alert. Probably you want to keep this option always enabled.
Please note that after changing this option all web pages will be marked as changed on the first successive check
- Menu Font:
select the font and size you want to be used for displayed the items in the menu
- Display Unchanged URLs in Menu:
if enabled unchanged URLs will be always displayed in the menu, you could disable this option if your menu gets too long
- Display Unchanged URLs in Toolbar Icon:
if enabled unchanged URLs will be always displayed in the toolbar icon, you could disable this option for a simpler 2 colors display
- Display Errors First:
if enabled URLs which report an error will be displayed first in the menu, otherwise they will be left as the last items
- Get Titles From Web Pages:
if the checked URL corresponds to a web page, get its title
- Display Title if Available:
if a title is available for a URL, display it in the menu in place of the URL itself
- Display Style:
choose among the available display styles for the menubar icon
- Unchanged Color, Changed Color, Error Color:
choose the desired color to be used both in the menubar icon and in the popup menu
- Send Notifications:
if set to After Every Change, any change will trigger a notification; if set to Only When Status Changes, multiple consecutive changes trigger a notification only on first one
- Play Sound after Check:
if enabled, the sound corresponding to the selected name will be played every time the check of enabled URLs has been completed and there are any differences (changes or errors) over the previous check
- Blink Menubar Icon after Check:
if enabled the menubar pie-chart icon will slowly blink five times every time the check of enabled URLs has been completed and there are any differences (changes or errors) over the previous check; click on the icon to stop the blinking
- Send Notifications to Growl:
if enabled it will send notifications about changes and errors to Growl, if it is running
- Display Check Complete Message:
when Growl notifications are enabled, display an additional 'Check Complete' message when a check cycle is completed li>
- Display:
when Growl notifications are enabled, select if you want to display either the page URL or the page title, if available, inside the Growl notification ticket li>
