iEye Captain Icon    Infrared: Exporting a Trigger Calendar manually or automatically

The channel will not change until you export a "Trigger Calendar" to iCal. Learn how to do this manually once to test it, and then how to tell iEye Captain to do this automatically so you never have to worry about it.

If you are not in the Infrared settings window, choose "Infrared Export Settings" from the Tools menu.

Exporting the infrared trigger calendar:

• In the Infrared Triggers settings window, you can click the "Export Triggers" button to initiate an export, or click "Save All" to save your settings. Then, you can use the File > QuickData Exports > Infrared Triggers menu item, or the QuickIR toolbar button to export the triggers (you may need to click "Customize" and drag the QuickIR button onto the active toolbar).
• iCal will open, and you will see your infrared triggers as events on the calendar.
• IMPORTANT: do not make changes to this calendar within iCal – if you need to make any changes, please do this within iEye Captain.
• Once you test the triggers and know that they work, you can enable the "Auto-reload and export infrared" option in the "Auto-Reload" sub menu of the "Tools" menu, and iEye Captain will always keep the trigger calendar up to date.
• If you've set it up properly, you should never miss a program!
