What's New in Notae 2.0

Notae 2.0 comes with several key improvements to the program that will enable you to take control of your notes and clippings. Here are the key improvements in Notae 2.0 that let it empower your digital mess, letting it become your digital library.

Save time with the Tag Browser

The tag browser lists your tags in the order you use them the most, letting you drill down to the exact set of notes that you want to review or work on. As you select a tag, Notae finds all notes that use that tag and shows you other tags those notes use. Dive deeper to find the exact two or three notes that match the topic you're looking for.

In one keystroke Notae will bring your editing view out to cover the full screen, giving you ample space to work and hiding all the other distractions your computer offers. Sometimes you want an expensive powerhouse, and sometimes you want a typewriter. With Notae, you can have both.

Integrate Notae into your workflow with system-wide shortcuts.

Notae can be configured to come to the front with any pre-set keystroke, optionally creating a new note for you in the process. If you'd like something less invasive, use the system-wide shortcut to bring up Notae's Quick Note feature and types notes in any application.

Are you in another application but need to jot down something real quick? Press the user-set hotkey to bring Quick Note to the front and just jot your note down and save. The panel quickly resets and is ready for a new note instantly. If you didn't give the note a name, Notae runs Auto-Name on the note automatically and stores it.
