Installation

----------------

To install PressGenie - Mac OSX - Drag the PressGenie icon from the Disk Image to your Applications folder.

To install PressGenie - Windows - Run the Pressgenie installer file and follow the instructions

About PressGenie

PressGenie is a Job Management System including Estimation, Quotation, Job Ticket creation.

It is a user friendly, easily configurable and multiuser software system that runs

on Windows 98 or above / Mac OSX

Estimation for print jobs is complex, so be sure to understand the basic concepts of costing. PressGenie allows you to record printing jobs as per your information. Businesses may need to keep additional records if required.

PressGenie is continually under development and is provided without any guarantees or warranties as to its fitness for purpose or functionality apart from those required under the relevant laws in your jurisdiction. This means that the program may contain bugs which have not been identified. If any issues affecting data integrity are found they will be posted at http://www.devalipi.com. Please ensure that you backup your PressGenie data file weekly. You may decide backup your data more or less often, depending on how much information you are prepared to risk losing. Always backup your data before starting a couple of new jobs.

The software described in this document (Devalipi Software PressGenie) is offered under a single-user license agreement. Unregistered users of Devalipi Software PressGenie may permitted to use data files created by PressGenie 30 days before registration of PressGenie is required to further use those data files. Registering PressGenie entitles the registration holder to a single-user license which enables the user to continue using data files beyond their 30 day pre-registration limit.

Registration of Devalipi Software PressGenie entitles the holder of the single-user license to free upgrades within the domain of the registered version. For example, single-user license holders of Devalipi Software PressGenie 2.x will be entitled to free updates up to, but not including version 3.0. Existing license holders will receive discounts for updates beyond the domain of their licensed version upon proof of registration.
