Database Applet is used for display of tabular data on a web
site or CD-ROM. The applet loads a text data file and displays the content
in a grid. Data is cached in an embedded database engine, which makes
it very fast and easy to browse, search, filter and sort the data.

applet requires a java 1.4 plugin that automatically downloads and installs
the first time the applet is loaded in the browser. No programming or
cgi-scripts is needed.

Click on column header to sort. Dbl. click on row to
see record dialog. Enter keyword in toolbar to search.
Installation
Download
and unzip dbapplet.zip on your local computer.
Make a text data file of your data containing as many
columns as you need. Most databases can export data to a text
file. Columns must be separated by comma, semicolon, tab
or space
Make a HTML document and simply copy paste the
OBJECT tag below to the position in the HTML source code where
you want to display the applet.
Edit the file config.xml. This file configure the applet.
Upload dbapplet.jar, the HTML document, the
data text file and dbapplet.xml to your web site.
Load the HTML document in a browser and the applet
will run.
Important:
Changes in data or xml file is only updated when the all browser
windows is closed and reopened.

License
Please try out the applet before purchase. The trial will display
a Nag dialog each time it is loaded. Licensed applets will not display
the Nag dialog.
A license cost $50 and cover one network installation of the
applet with unlimited, simultaneous user access to the applet
