Microsoft har gitt ut en oppdatering som fjerner to sikkerhetsproblemer, en som påvirker Microsoft Windows NTA 4.0 og Windows 2000, og den andre påvirker Windows NT 4.0. Under visse vilkår, kan sikkerhetsproblemet tillate en angriper å gjøre det vanskelig eller umulig for andre brukere å finne tjenester og datamaskiner i et nettverk; i verste fall kan det tillate ham å gi uriktige opplysninger om de samme tjenestene og datamaskiner.
